Baghdad –The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, assured the adherence of the INA to the constitutional time limits over nominating the next PM.
A statement by Jaafary’s office received by AIN cited “Jaafary met with the British Charged d’affaires in Iraq, Mark Bryson at his office where they discussed the latest political updates in Iraq and the challenges that hinder the democratic process.”
“Jaafary assured the adherence of the INA to the constitutional time limits to nominate the next PM,” the statement added, noting that “Bryson assured the support of Britain to the security and stability in Iraq, wishing the formation of the next government as soon as possible and within the constitutional time limits.”
